Advance your nursing career by contributing specialized expertise in a rewarding Cath Lab role. As a Registered Nurse focused on Cath Lab care, you will provide patient-centered support throughout cardiac catheterization procedures and play a vital role in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, with good standing
- Recent experience in a Cath Lab setting required
- Proficient in monitoring, IV insertion, administration of cardiac medications, and patient assessment
- Ability to interpret EKGs and respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care to Cath Lab patients
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and status, identifying and managing adverse reactions or complications promptly
- Document procedures, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with standards and regulations
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and cardiac health
- Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
- Maintain and ensure readiness of Cath Lab equipment and supplies
