Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Demonstrated experience in a cath lab setting is required
  • Competency in assisting with interventional cardiac procedures
  • Solid knowledge of cardiac monitoring, hemodynamics, and emergency protocols
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication, patient assessment, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in status
  • Administer medications, including conscious sedation, under physician guidance
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field and specialized equipment throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and recovery
  • Assist with post-procedure monitoring and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility protocols

$2,856 - $3,021/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
