Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Cortland, New York

Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong IV insertion, cardiac monitoring, and conscious sedation experience highly preferred
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and procedural updates

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, administer medications, and document care thoroughly
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and potential complications
• Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection prevention protocols
• Respond effectively to emergencies and assist with patient stabilization when needed
