Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Crestwood, Kentucky

Stepping into this dynamic hospital environment offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including experienced nurse managers, cardiologists, hospitalists, and RTs, gaining insights from a range of leadership styles and clinical approaches. The seven-lab unit cares primarily for adults presenting with complex cardiac diagnoses, offering hands-on exposure to advanced technology—Cerner EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell, McKesson Hemodynamic System, and both GE and Siemens C-arms.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM shifts
• Call rotation: 1–2 weeknights per week, plus 1–2 weekends per 6 weeks (Saturday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM, 30-minute response time)
• Schedule set in 6-week increments

Qualifications:

• 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required
• Additional ICU experience preferred; will consider 2-3 years of Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Not accepting first-time travelers
• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required (RCIS or CI preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Expertly monitor and sedate patients during procedures
• Collaborate with an extensive support team: NPs, fellows, intensivists, and weekend crew for both scheduled and emergent cases
• Float between the Cath Lab, University Hospital, or EP Lab if needed
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment

$2,106 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
