This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in the Cardiac Cath Lab to support a busy healthcare facility in Danbury, CT. This contract position offers 12-hour shifts with varied start times, providing a dynamic work schedule designed for professional growth in a fast-paced environment.

Location:
Situated in Danbury, CT, this role is based at a well-established regional hospital known for advanced cardiovascular services and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday
  • Variable start times at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
  • On-call duties including one weekday night (5 PM – 7 AM), every fourth weekend (Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM), and select holidays

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current CT Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab/Electrophysiology (EP) procedure experience
  • Proficient in circulating in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Preferred certifications: CCRN, CI, CV, RCIS
  • Neuro experience preferred (Mechanical Thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, Embolizations)
  • Ability to monitor and scrub in Cath, EP, Neuro cases

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and assist during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • Provide direct patient care and monitoring throughout the procedures
  • Support neuro-interventional cases with proficiency in advanced techniques
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
