Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract assignment (specific schedule details to be discussed during interview process)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology interventions
- Perform thorough pre-procedure assessments and patient preparation
- Manage vascular access, including radial, femoral, IJ sites, as well as device implant pockets
- Administer medications safely, consistent with established protocols
- Assist with cardioversions and support electrophysiology procedures
- Continuously monitor and interpret vital signs and ECGs
- Provide patient education to ensure safe post-procedure recovery and discharge
- Collaborate proactively with physicians, technical staff, and ancillary teams
Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Competency with vascular access management and procedural sedation
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EMR proficiency; EPIC experience preferred
