Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Fayetteville, WV

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current, active RN license without restriction
• Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and other nurses
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable adapting to emergent situations and high-acuity cases

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during catheterization and other interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the procedure
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment according to safety protocols
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control standards
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care, patient education, and discharge instructions
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies, utilizing advanced life support techniques when necessary
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdepartmental teams to ensure continuity of care

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
