Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- 4x10 hour shifts
- 8-week duration
- 8 days of on-call required, including 1 weekend every 4 weeks
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience
- Prior travel cath lab nursing strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
- Actively monitor patient status, anticipating and rapidly responding to clinical changes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner
- Provide prompt on-call support as scheduled
- Strict adherence to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
