Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic/interventional cardiac procedures
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow team members to provide care for cardiac patients in the Cath Lab
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, responding swiftly to changes in status
- Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment
- Educate patients and families on procedures, post-procedure care, and cardiac health maintenance
- Adhere to all hospital safety and infection control policies
