Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV placement, and assisting with diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and facility protocols quickly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other specialized procedures
  • Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and respond to emergent situations
  • Collaborate efficiently with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold strict safety and infection control practices
