Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Green Cove Springs, FL

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience. This contract position requires a skilled RN ready to work in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. The incoming professional will play a vital role in supporting interventional cardiology procedures and patient care throughout every phase of the process.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac medications, procedures, and related equipment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures and monitor patient status
• Administer cardiac medications and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in the patient’s medical chart
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Act as a resource for patients and families, offering education and emotional support regarding cardiac procedures and recovery
