Qualifications:

• Active RN license (NY state preferred or compact licensure eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, vascular access, and patient assessment in a cardiac cath lab environment
• Skilled in medication administration, sterile technique, and emergency response protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal safety and outcomes
• Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
• Deliver compassionate education to patients and families regarding procedures and recovery expectations
• Document all care activities in compliance with regulatory standards
