Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, procedures, and medications
- Proficiency with monitoring and documentation equipment used in Cath Lab
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
- Calm demeanor, flexibility, and collaborative mindset in high-pressure environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist physicians and other team members during complex interventions
- Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab technology and equipment
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, risks, and post-procedure care
- Adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
