Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Groton, New York

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, procedures, and medications
• Proficiency with monitoring and documentation equipment used in Cath Lab
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
• Calm demeanor, flexibility, and collaborative mindset in high-pressure environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions
• Assist physicians and other team members during complex interventions
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab technology and equipment
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, risks, and post-procedure care
• Adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
