Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of VA (or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and assess patient response throughout procedures and in post-procedure recovery
• Administer medications, IVs, and sedation as needed
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure patient safety
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care
