Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with contract-based scheduling (exact shifts may vary depending on facility needs)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, valid for practice in Arizona
  • Minimum of one year of recent cath lab nursing experience preferred
  • Competency in all aspects of pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
  • Adaptability to new technology, protocols, and team structures

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures
  • Monitor and document vital signs, manage medications, and assist during procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-care, and follow-up plans
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained according to hospital protocols
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
