Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Huntersville, NC

Schedule / Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• No weekends required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Unit is closed on major holidays

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Critical Care, PACU, or CCU settings
• Strong background in Cath Lab or procedural nursing is highly valued
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, particularly in post-procedure or telemetry care
• Ability to adapt and float to EP/procedural areas as needed
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the prep and recovery phase after interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor vital signs during recovery, promptly recognizing and responding to complications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and address their concerns
• Prepare documentation accurately and efficiently in accordance with facility guidelines
• Be flexible to float to EP and procedural areas, as discussed during the interview

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
