Schedule/Hours

  • Full-time, contract position
  • Rotating shifts, including on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • Current, active RN license
  • Recent experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology nursing role
  • Proficient with cardiac catheterization, monitoring, and assisting with interventional procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, responding rapidly to changes in patient status
  • Administer medications, sedatives, and manage conscious sedation as directed
  • Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during vascular access, device placement, and other interventions
  • Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-procedure care and address any concerns
  • Document all aspects of patient care clearly and accurately in the EMR
