Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Jackson, NJ

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift
• 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement: 4 weekdays and one weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
• Weekend requirement: On-call 1 weekend/month
• Holiday requirement: 1 summer and 1 winter shift of call

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the Cath Lab
• Required: Experience as circulating nurse, proficiency with EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, and balloon pump
• Must have EP experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., with physical capacity for standing and moving equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and a variety of interventional procedures, including angioplasty, atherectomy, and vascular closure device insertions
• Prepare sterile trays and organize equipment specific to each procedure
• Provide pre-procedural patient prep and ongoing monitoring
• Calibrate and maintain technical equipment; ensure accurate data storage and transfer
• Support emergency interventions as needed, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in inventory management and equipment maintenance
• Deliver age and needs-appropriate care, maintaining clear patient and caregiver communication
