Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- On-call requirement: 4 weekdays and one weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
- Weekend requirement: On-call 1 weekend/month
- Holiday requirement: 1 summer and 1 winter shift of call
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the Cath Lab
- Required: Experience as circulating nurse, proficiency with EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, and balloon pump
- Must have EP experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., with physical capacity for standing and moving equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and a variety of interventional procedures, including angioplasty, atherectomy, and vascular closure device insertions
- Prepare sterile trays and organize equipment specific to each procedure
- Provide pre-procedural patient prep and ongoing monitoring
- Calibrate and maintain technical equipment; ensure accurate data storage and transfer
- Support emergency interventions as needed, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Deliver age and needs-appropriate care, maintaining clear patient and caregiver communication
