Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Jacksonville, AL

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Proficiency with monitoring cardiac rhythms and providing patient education
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively during emergent situations

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and related procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring sterility and patient safety throughout
• Monitor patient status pre, intra, and post procedure, identifying and reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, under established protocols
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support high-quality patient care and positive patient experiences
• Participate in patient and family education on post-procedure care and cardiac health
