Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Advanced clinical skills related to cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management abilities
- Motivated team player with a commitment to evidence-based patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes
- Assist physicians and other team members during catheterizations, angioplasties, and device implantations
- Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and document all care thoroughly
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to infection control standards
- Educate patients and families regarding procedural steps, post-operative care, and follow-up requirements
