Apply NowA contract nursing opportunity is available in a busy cardiac care environment for those with a strong background in critical care. This position supports a Prep/Recovery unit that provides care for patients after cardiac catheterization, vascular, and EP procedures. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and experienced, prepared to thrive within a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend shifts required
- Closed on major holidays
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care, PACU, or CCU
- Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred
- Confidence in monitoring recovering post-procedural patients
- Flexibility to float to EP and procedural areas if needed (to be discussed further in the manager interview)
- Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients pre- and post-cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor patients’ status and quickly respond to changes in condition
- Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and provide detailed handoffs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high standards of care
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation, adhering strictly to hospital protocols

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
