Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract assignment
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Cath Lab Technologist, experienced in both clinical and technical aspects of cath lab care
- Mandatory experience with scrubbing cases, balloon pump management, room turnover, safe patient transport, procedural assistance, and manifold operation
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CVT with RCIS credential necessary
- Minimum of 4 years Cath Lab experience
- Flexibility to float to the OR for vascular cases or neighboring cath labs as needed
- Open to reviewing strong first-time travelers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert cardiac interventional support, collaborating with physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Scrub in and circulate during diverse cardiac cases, including angioplasties and interventions requiring intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Maintain and ensure readiness of all Cath Lab equipment; assist with room turnover between cases
- Facilitate the safe transport of patients within the facility to support seamless care transitions
- Adhere to established protocols, monitor patient responses, and appropriately document care provided
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adapting to cross-coverage needs in related vascular and cath lab units
