Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in La Porte City, IA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call rotation every 3 weeks
• Every third weekend required

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Current BLS/ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor and assess patients throughout procedures, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Assist with preparation, set-up, and maintenance of equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain precise and detailed documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and fellow nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care, and recovery expectations
