Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call: 4 weekdays, 1 weekend per month (Friday–Sunday)
  • Holiday call: 1 summer shift, 1 winter shift
  • No float requirement

Qualifications:

  • RN license with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience (preferred and required)
  • Proficiency as a circulating nurse, with EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, and balloon pump skills
  • Experience working with electrophysiology (EP)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile trays and specialized equipment for each cardiac procedure
  • Support patient preparation, monitoring, and emergency measures
  • Calibrate/test equipment for precise readings and assist with advanced procedures (atherectomy, stenting, etc.)
  • Operate digital cine and ensure proper patient data management
  • Aid in inventory control and preventive maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to ensure individualized care
  • Adhere to all organizational competencies and patient safety standards
