Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license, eligible to practice in Ohio
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or comparable acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong skills in pre/post procedural patient care
- Proficient in managing vascular access and device implant sites (radial, femoral, IJ, device pockets)
- Experience administering medications and assisting with cardioversions highly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to provide thorough discharge education
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive pre-procedure assessments for cath lab and electrophysiology patients
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and ECGs throughout procedures
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Assist with management of vascular access and cardiac device implant sites
- Support cardioversion procedures as needed
- Guide patients and families during post-procedure discharge, providing clear education on recovery and follow-up
