As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab procedures, you will work collaboratively alongside experienced interventional teams, delivering critical care, preparation, and monitoring for patients undergoing cardiovascular diagnostics and treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac procedures, including assisting with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and similar interventions.
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and IV skills.
  • Calm and effective communicator, especially during critical situations.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced procedural area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after Cath Lab procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist physicians and technologists with cardiac procedures, including patient prep, equipment setup, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards at all times.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-procedure care.
  • Document care in accordance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of best practices in cardiovascular care.
