Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses with a specialization in Cath Lab care. This contract role focuses on providing exemplary nursing functions in line with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform nursing functions and execute delegated medical procedures according to state Board of Nursing guidelines
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, developing and evaluating tailored care plans
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including therapeutic and restorative interventions
  • Deliver patient education through health teaching and counseling
  • Monitor and review ongoing therapy and treatment plans, adjusting as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Accurately document all care and interventions in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize available resources to enhance patient care
  • Refer patients for additional evaluation or specialist treatment when clinically indicated
  • Foster and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values, adhering to established behavioral standards
  • Support other departments as needed and within your scope of practice; may occasionally float to different units
  • Respond promptly to on-call assignments during scheduled shifts when required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license with current registration in good standing
  • Prior experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting
  • Strong clinical skills in cardiac catheterization procedures, patient assessment, and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
