An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience in a dynamic hospital environment. Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- On-call coverage required 10 days per month (including 4 weekend days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Please ensure full availability for the on-call commitments prior to applying
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in monitoring and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Demonstrate excellent communication, adaptability, and prioritization skills
- Comfortable responding promptly and effectively to emergency on-call situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Provide patient and family education related to cardiac care and recovery
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Respond rapidly to emergent situations, demonstrating composure and clinical expertise
