This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about delivering specialized care within a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment. You’ll be an integral part of a highly skilled cardio team, utilizing advanced technology to support critical cardiac procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week
- On-call required: 10 days per month (including at least 4 weekend days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab RN role
- Proven ability to perform under pressure during emergent cardiac cases
- Excellent IV skills and arrhythmia interpretation
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems a plus
- Willing and able to meet the on-call requirements as outlined
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and document patient status pre, intra, and post-procedure
- Circulate and/or scrub within the cath lab setting depending on case needs
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection prevention protocols
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent cases
