This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about delivering specialized care within a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment. You’ll be an integral part of a highly skilled cardio team, utilizing advanced technology to support critical cardiac procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week
  • On-call required: 10 days per month (including at least 4 weekend days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab RN role
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure during emergent cardiac cases
  • Excellent IV skills and arrhythmia interpretation
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities
  • Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems a plus
  • Willing and able to meet the on-call requirements as outlined

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitor and document patient status pre, intra, and post-procedure
  • Circulate and/or scrub within the cath lab setting depending on case needs
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection prevention protocols
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent cases
