Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Martins Ferry, OH

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Cath Lab procedures. This 13-week assignment offers the chance to work in a specialized cardiac environment, contributing your expertise to high-quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 5 x 8-hour day shifts
• On-call requirements: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• On-call rotation: Two days per week and three weekends within a six-week period

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Ohio RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Previous experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab as an RN
• Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians and the interventional team during diagnostic and interventional cases
• Monitor patient status and promptly respond to acute changes
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with orders and established protocols
• Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety policies
• Document care provided accurately and efficiently
• Serve in a critical, on-call support role as needed for urgent procedures during scheduled times
