Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00am–5:30pm)
• Call required after one-week orientation (12–15 days per 6-week schedule, including two weekends)
• Call times: Weekdays 5:30am–7:00am, weekends 7:00am–7:00am

Qualifications:

• Active RN License from PA State Board required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience reviewing patient charts, allergies, medications, and consents
• Skilled in maintaining sterile technique, circulating, and scrubbing roles
• Familiarity with Point-of-Care testing equipment and contrast administration
• Preferred: Knowledge of congenital heart disease, advanced assessment skills, and care for critically ill pediatric patients (neonates through adolescents)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cath lab rooms and emergency equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, technologists, and anesthesia
• Provide hands-on assistance during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout all procedure phases
