Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Middleburg, FL

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced RN to provide specialized care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. This contract position requires expertise in supporting cardiac procedures and assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting required
• Proficient in monitoring and assisting with cath lab procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Reliability and flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the department

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-procedure, responding to any changes in condition
• Manage medications and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed
• Document patient data accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Ensure a sterile environment and comply with infection control protocols
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care, and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other staff for optimal patient outcomes
