Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Middleburg, FL

A challenging and rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced RN specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role requires a skilled nurse dedicated to patient care, with expertise in assisting during cardiac catheterizations and supporting pre- and post-procedural care. The ideal candidate will be ready to join an experienced team and make a vital impact in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated proficiency with diagnostic/interventional cardiac procedures
• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in urgent situations

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and provide ongoing monitoring throughout
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Monitor patient status and vital signs with attention to changes requiring intervention
• Administer medications and evaluate patient reactions as needed per protocol
• Provide education and support to patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
• Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and facility policies
