Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid RN license
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in urgent, fast-paced clinical settings
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and intervention equipment
Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring a sterile environment
- Administer medications and closely observe patient responses
- Accurately document all aspects of care in patient records
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and recovery
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies within the Cath Lab
