Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Millbrook, Alabama

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role focuses on delivering top-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Proficient in monitoring and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related interventional procedures
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care for individuals undergoing cardiac catheterization and other Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide post-procedure assessments
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control standards are followed throughout all procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery process, and follow-up care
• Document all aspects of care accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to emergencies and support the team with rapid decision-making

$2,503 - $2,638/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
