Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This contract opportunity offers dynamic day shifts, supporting interventional cardiology procedures and working closely with a collaborative clinical team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule options include:

• 8-hour shifts: 0600-1430, 1100-1930, 1200-2030
• 12-hour shifts: 0600-1830
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-call rotation: Call for permanent staff runs Friday to Friday every 2-3 months, with flexibility to split call weeks as needed. Management is open to discussing individual preferences for call scheduling.
• Weekend call rotation includes 24-hour shifts (0600-0600). Additional weekend coverage may be required based on department needs.
• Potential for holiday coverage as assigned
• No floating between departments required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Proficiency in managing pre-, intra-, and post-procedural patient care
• Demonstrated critical thinking and rapid response skills during high-acuity situations
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Exceptional communication abilities and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
• Previous contract or travel nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and provide vigilant monitoring of patients throughout their visit
• Prepare equipment and supplies, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure accurate documentation of procedures
• Respond promptly to any patient changes, adhering to established protocols for emergency care
• Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and ongoing cardiac health
• Follow departmental policies and compliance standards at all times

$2,967 - $3,128/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
