Advance your nursing expertise by supporting a dynamic cardiac team in an advanced Cath Lab setting. This 13-week contract position is ideal for Registered Nurses experienced in cath lab procedures, ready to make a significant impact in patient outcomes through skilled, compassionate care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5x8 hour day shifts
  • On-call: Monday–Friday 2:30pm–6:00am; Saturday & Sunday 6:00am–6:00am
  • On-call requirement: 2 days weekly and 3 weekends within a 6-week period

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio (OH)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Prior experience in a Cath Lab environment, working with interventional cardiology procedures
  • Ability to handle acute cardiac cases with composure and efficiency
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and specialized staff during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal safety and comfort
  • Maintain meticulous records and patient documentation
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, adhering to strict protocols for safety and efficacy
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, applying advanced critical thinking skills
