Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Proven experience assisting with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and other interventions
  • Thorough understanding of sterile technique and infection control protocols
  • Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient responses throughout procedures
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cath lab procedures, responding quickly to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications under physician guidance and monitor for any adverse reactions
  • Document all aspects of care accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and post-procedure care
  • Assist with emergency procedures as needed and maintain readiness for urgent interventions
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, regulatory, and quality standards

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
