Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and protocols
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes clinical setting
  • Experience collaborating with physicians and clinical staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs, recognizing and acting on changes in patient condition
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and intervention procedures, maintaining sterile fields and equipment
  • Prepare rooms, supplies, and medications specific to Cath Lab operations
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
  • Meticulously document care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards
