Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Montgomery, AL

An experienced Registered Nurse is needed to provide skilled support in a Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity begins on August 17 and offers the chance to work closely alongside a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team. Utilizing your clinical expertise, you’ll help deliver excellent care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Shift times: 6:30am – 7:00pm

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• At least one year of experience as an RN in a Cath Lab environment
• Strong cardiac care and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies as needed per protocol
• Assist physicians and technicians with procedures and interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation, including procedural data and patient responses
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and carry out emergency interventions
• Educate patients and families on procedural expectations and post-care instructions
• Follow all established safety and infection control protocols
