Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Mount Washington, Kentucky

With 7 active Cath Labs and a robust support system that includes nurse managers, specialized technicians, and 24/7 physician presence, you'll gain valuable experience managing complex adult cardiac cases and operating an array of cutting-edge technologies such as Cerner EMR, Alaris infusion systems, and GE/Siemens C-arms.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 0700-1930
• Weekend rotation: call only (scheduled Friday/Saturday, with emergency call team)
• 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week
• 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule cycle
• 30-minute on-call response time

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• RCIS or CI certification preferred, not mandatory
• Experience in ICU (>1 year), or 2-3 years of Cardiac Stepdown accepted
• Proficiency in monitoring and sedation
• No first-time travelers considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for primarily adult Cath Lab patients
• Monitor sedation and assess patient response during procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and hospitalists
• Float to University Hospital or EP Lab as needed
