This opportunity in the Cath Lab offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with skilled professionals, including Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, RTs, hospitalists, intensivists, advanced practitioners, and seasoned cardiologists. You'll gain exposure to a range of cases and technology, from EMR systems like Cerner to advanced hemodynamic monitors, and support an adult patient population with varied cardiac diagnoses.

Working with diverse teams and leadership styles, and adapting to different unit protocols, offers valuable insights to advance your career.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Schedule set in 6-week increments
  • Weekend rotation is call-only, with 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week and 1–2 call weekends per cycle (Saturday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)
  • 30-minute response time required

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ Cath Lab experience (ICU or 2-3 years Cardiac Stepdown experience considered)
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
  • RCIS or CI preferred, not mandatory
  • Proficiency in monitoring, sedation, and using hospital technologies
  • Not accepting first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for adult cardiac patients in the Cath Lab
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Administer sedation as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Float to EP Lab or University Hospital as needed

$2,106 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
