Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Newfield, NY

Experienced registered nurses are needed for an assignment in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supporting advanced cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology required
• Familiarity with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and vascular interventions
• BLS and ACLS certification (must be active)
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes during procedures
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring compliance with sterile techniques
• Administer medications as directed and document all care provided
• Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about their care and post-procedure recovery
