A highly skilled Registered Nurse is needed for a Cath Lab assignment working in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital environment. This opportunity is an ideal fit for professionals seeking to make an immediate impact while further strengthening their Cath Lab expertise.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response protocols
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after catheterization
  • Monitor vital signs and patient status, reacting promptly to changes
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation in medical records
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
