A highly skilled Registered Nurse is needed for a Cath Lab assignment working in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital environment. This opportunity is an ideal fit for professionals seeking to make an immediate impact while further strengthening their Cath Lab expertise.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response protocols
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care
- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after catheterization
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, reacting promptly to changes
- Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation in medical records
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
