Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Orange Park, FL

Step into a vital role assisting patients in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab environment. This contract opportunity seeks an RN with Cath Lab experience who can start as soon as possible. Work in an advanced setting alongside a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality care.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
• Shifts run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to effectively manage priorities in a high-acuity unit
• Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based care and safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent procedures, and other interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Administer and monitor medications as ordered
• Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff
• Serve as an advocate and resource for patients and their families during the treatment process
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient records
• Respond immediately to emergencies and participate in code response
