Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Oxford, AL

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with hemodynamics and cardiovascular medications

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs, manage sedation, and document throughout the procedure
• Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including angioplasties and stent placements
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
