Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Pearl, Mississippi

An exciting opportunity awaits for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Cardiac Cath Lab care. This contract position is ideal for those who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular environments and are ready to make a difference in patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Call requirements: Two nights per week and three weekends (Friday-Sunday) within each eight-week rotation (minimum)
• Holiday coverage: Call and/or work as operationally needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum two years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
• Proficient in moderate sedation administration and hemodynamic monitoring
• Demonstrated competence in circulating during invasive cardiac procedures
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health record system required
• Scrubbing experience in the Cath Lab is preferred
• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting, overseeing all aspects of procedural support and patient preparation
• Accurately monitor and document vital signs, hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout all phases of cardiac procedures
• Administer moderate sedation under protocol and monitor patient safety
• Function as a circulating RN, collaborating closely with the interventional cardiology team for seamless procedural flow
• Assist with after-hours emergencies as part of the call team, demonstrating readiness and composure under pressure
• Maintain impeccable patient records in Epic and ensure strict adherence to all hospital policies and regulatory standards

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
