Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid in PA
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols
- Ability to adapt swiftly in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate specialized equipment and perform required documentation
- Respond rapidly to patient emergencies, utilizing advanced assessment and intervention skills
- Educate patients and families, providing clear explanations of procedures and post-care instructions
- Support quality improvement and safety initiatives within the Cath Lab
