Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergent situations
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and documentation throughout procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and related tests
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, according to protocols
• Prepare, maintain, and clean equipment and supplies for Cath Lab procedures
• Educate patients and families pre- and post-procedure, promoting understanding and recovery
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and facility-specific protocols
