Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Pike Road, AL

Step into a vital role providing expert care in a cutting-edge cardiac catheterization environment. This position seeks a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Cath Lab. Schedule:

• Start date: August 17
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Hours: 6:30 am – 7:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab experience
• Strong proficiency in cardiac procedures, including monitoring, circulating, and assisting with interventions
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
• Familiarity with documentation and EMR systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status, identifying any changes and responding promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and technologists during procedures
• Accurately document all care and communication
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
• Uphold rigorous infection control and patient safety standards
