Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Pike Road, Alabama

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
• In-depth knowledge of Cath Lab procedures, protocols, and equipment
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to monitor and interpret patient vital signs during cardiac procedures
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, educating and answering questions
• Assist physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, providing immediate response to any changes
• Accurately chart all assessments, medications, and interventions according to facility guidelines
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment, ensuring a sterile working environment
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
