Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Pike Road, Alabama

Step into a pivotal nursing position specializing in Cath Lab care. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with a background in the Cath Lab setting, seeking impactful work in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour day shifts
• 6:30 am – 7:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate records throughout procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and cardiac care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Prepare patients and equipment for catheterizations, ensuring adherence to all protocols.
• Deliver education to patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any changes in patient conditions or emergencies within the Cath Lab.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Proven Cath Lab RN experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid).
• Exceptional assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure clinical situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
