Step into a dynamic nursing environment specializing in cardiac care in the Cath Lab. This contract position starts August 17th and offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise in a collaborative clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week
  • 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Valid, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Cath Lab setting required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact with physicians, technologists, patients, and family members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care alongside the interventional cardiology team during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure education and patient preparation
  • Document observations, assessments, and interventions promptly and accurately in electronic health records
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions when needed
  • Maintain and check all Cath Lab supplies and equipment for functionality and readiness
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols to guarantee patient wellbeing
