Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Prospect, Kentucky

Gain hands-on experience in a unit equipped with the latest medical technology, including Cerner EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell, McKesson Hemodynamic Systems, and GE/Siemens C-arms. Benefit from working alongside cardiologists, hospitalists, intensivists, and NPs, broadening your clinical perspectives and strategies in patient management.

Schedule/Hours:

• 0700-1930 shifts
• Weekend rotation: Call only, as scheduled
• 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week; 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule
• 30-minute response time for on-call shifts
• Schedule created in 6-week cycles

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required
• Greater than 1 year ICU experience preferred; will consider 2-3 years Cardiac Stepdown
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• RCIS or CI certification preferred but not required
• Proficient in patient monitoring and sedation techniques
• Previous travel experience required

Responsibilities:

• Care for predominantly adult cardiac patients within a 7-bed Cath Lab
• Monitor, assess, and provide sedation for various cath procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes
• Float as needed to University Hospital or EP Lab
• Participate in scheduled and emergency call rotations
